Malone Roofing undertook the Sarnafil Single Ply roofing to a new public funded Hindu Temple and Multi-Function Hall in Kingsbury North London.
The Temple roof was in excess of 1000m2 which consisted of Sarnavap 5000E Self Adhesive Felt Vapour Control Layer, Kingspan TT47 Tapered Insualtion & Sarnafil G410-18EL Light Grey single ply membrane all fully adhered. Insulated parapet to the perimeter with challenging curved details to the dome base. Sarnatred walkways installed to allow access to all roof areas. Balconies and planters were waterproofed in a Sika Decothane liquid system for ease of installation.
The Multi-Function Hall roof was in excess of 800m2 with two different deck types, concrete and metal. The concrete decked area had the same fully adhered Sarnafil system as the Temple Roof. We installed a hybrid system to the metal decked area consisting of Sarnavap 500E polyethylene based vapour control layer, Kingspan TT47 Tapered Insulation mechanically fixed through to the metal deck with the Sarnafil G410-18EL Light Grey membrane adhered over the insulation. Insulated parapet detail to the perimeter, with insulated upstands to all rooflights. Sarnatred walkways installed to allow access across the roof.
Supply and installation of Latchways Mansafe Fall Restraint Systems, approximately 300Lm in 5nr systems across the two buildings and 120nr Latchways Solar support posts to the Multi-Function Hall was included in our contract.
