St Wilfrids Hospice
Bosham
Works completed at the new St Wilfrids Hospice in Bosham.
The new Hospice will be made up of four buildings designed to separate the different services on offer, making it easier for patients and relatives to navigate. These will be linked together by glazed corridors with views onto the courtyard garden. The four buildings will be:
- The Stables – our Inpatient ward
- The Granary – our community services
- The Sussex Barn – our Day Hospice and support services
- The Hay Loft – all our essential support services
The design has taken inspiration from our local surroundings, with the main buildings grouped to look like a converted farm complex; incorporating materials such as flint work, oak boarding, Siga Spanish Slate, Redland Old Hollow clay roof tiles, Hanbury Burmarsh handmade clay tiles and curved Kalzip standing seam roofing.
Malone Roofing under took all tiled, slate, Kalzip standing seam roofs, fascias, soffits and rainwater goods.
